I was particularly interested to talk to James, as we’ve both been writing, directing and producing short films for some time now, and had many a shot at getting a feature funded. James at least has managed to complete his first feature film and he’s now actively looking for distribution deals for it.
Refreshingly he chose to make a very personal piece, a drama called Sorority. He financed it for around £100K, shot it in under 3 weeks and the trailer looks great. We talk about the story, the development, how he got cast and money together to make the film, and other related stuff. Here’s that take.
